Nord Arin's Remarkable First Semester of 2023
We’re halfway through 2023 and it's the perfect moment to reflect on Nord Arin's achievements and look ahead to the exciting future that awaits us in the next six months. The first half of this year has been truly extraordinary, with new product launches, prestigious international exhibitions, and valuable partnerships driving us toward even greater success.
Nord Arin year-to-date milestones:
1. Introducing 4 New Premium Materials
This spring, we proudly added into our portfolio four premium materials – American walnut, natural stone, marble, and quartzite. These new additions have significantly expanded the horizons of our furniture customization options, offering limitless creative possibilities for the markets of all our customers. The broader diversity in our portfolio allows us to cater to worldwide markets more effectively, align with the latest design trends, and meet the needs of new global audiences.
2. Design & Manufacturing of 44 New Products
Throughout the first semester, the Nord Arin team tirelessly pursued innovation, resulting in the design and manufacturing of an impressive 44 new products. These accomplishments include both prototypes and launched items, showcasing our exceptional flexibility and adaptability to market demands. We exhibited in two prestigious international fairs, Salone del Mobile Milan and INDEX Dubai, in which we proudly unveiled 11 of these innovative furniture pieces, receiving enthusiastic feedback from industry professionals across highly competitive markets such as the USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Hong Kong.

3. Nord Arin Joins Archiproducts.com
With a strong focus on expanding its online visibility, Nord Arin has successfully joined Archiproducts.com, the largest platform for architecture and design in the world. This strategic move allows us to forge closer connections with industry professionals across the globe, creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
As our factory capabilities and product portfolio expand, we can design and manufacture beyond our projects with B2B partners, serving also individual custom projects, for contemporary homes around the world. While we keep a primary focus on series production for the retail, wholesale, and hospitality sectors, Nord Arin’s listing on Archiproducts.com is a decisive step towards taking on more such projects and starting exciting new collaborations with top design and interior architecture studios.
4. Successful Exhibitions at Salone del Mobile and INDEX Dubai
This spring marked an important milestone for Nord Arin, as we participated for the fourth time at Salone del Mobile international furniture fair in Milan and made our debut at the prestigious international exhibition INDEX Dubai. At these leading design events, we presented five captivating new furniture concepts, showcasing a splendid mix of materials and organic design. Our showstopper, the Cortina Dining Table, gained immense admiration and interest from professionals worldwide due to its exquisite blend of American walnut and pure white Romanian marble, offering through Nord Arin’s sample catalog a diverse range of customization possibilities.
Sirius Collection, Fusion Dining Table, as well as Elite and Elegance Sideboards are some other outstanding designs exhibited in Milan and Dubai international events.
5. Expanding our Fruitful Academic Partnerships
In early 2023, we established a new long-term partnership with the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design within the George Enescu National University of Arts Iasi. This remarkable collaboration aims to provide promising career opportunities within Nord Arin company for students pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees, support their graduation theses, and promote faculty projects at the international events we participate in. Graduates with passion and interest in furniture design can apply for jobs, paid internships, or collaborative projects with Nord Arin, in areas such as product design, graphic design, or 3D modeling.
6. Nurturing Young Talent with Student Visits & Factory Tours
As part of Nord Arin’s commitment to fostering young talent, in the last couple of weeks we have welcomed around 100 students and fresh graduates from four esteemed design and technical universities in Iasi and Brasov. These students had the great opportunity to explore our facility and showroom, gain valuable insights into the realm of premium furniture manufacturing, and get acquainted with the main design and production processes of a B2B design-orientated, high-quality manufacturer covering all areas of furniture creation, through a vertical production system.
7. Nord Arin Launches Two Student Competitions
With a view to encouraging creativity and innovation, Nord Arin organized its first-ever design competitions dedicated to creative students from the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design. We have received an impressive 69 extraordinary projects and awarded the eight winners of the Product Design and Furniture Decorations contests within a dedicated event. 8. Factory Upgrades for Enhanced Productivity
During the first half of 2023, Nord Arin remained dedicated to continuous improvement, resulting in multiple notable factory upgrades. Our efforts have involved a meticulous and strategic partial reorganization of the production flow, and reconfiguration of spaces in sectors such as Retouching, Packaging, and Warehouse. These remarkable enhancements have significantly increased productivity, empowering us to exceed our customers’ expectations and meet their demands with heightened efficiency.
Upcoming Projects and International Exhibitions
In the coming months, we have even more new plans on the horizon.
This autumn, Nord Arin will be exhibiting its premium products at two established international furniture fairs – one in our home market of Romania and one in Europe, the latter being a new remarkable debut for our brand. Participating for the first time at an international fair in a new market comes with a lot of meticulous research, as well as creative and technical work, but our extraordinary team of specialists is doing a brilliant job in making it look easy.
Designing and creating new products is a beautiful and cherished part of what we do – it’s when our designers, engineers, marketing, and sales specialists all sit together at one table, pour their passion, and deliver great ideas. We engage in detailed planning, crafting intricate drawings, analyzing a diverse array of swatches, and developing detailed roadmaps to bring these visions to life. Already, two new collections have taken shape on paper, and soon, the first set of products will enter the prototype phase.
Embracing New Technological Advancements
As our product range continues to expand, and we venture into more sophisticated designs and materials, we recognize the need for new cutting-edge technologies. Therefore, we are investing in new additions to our existing factory equipment in the next couple of months. This strategic move will not only elevate our productivity but also unlock fresh technical possibilities, empowering us to explore even bolder and more innovative design ideas.
Exciting and busy times lie ahead as we enhance our production capabilities, foster existing partnerships, develop new products, test new finishes, and prepare to launch in new markets. But as our commitment to excellence remains unwavering, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
